In December 2025, acclaimed modern American jazz vocalist Mikayla Smith released her debut album, “Somewhere Between Jazz, Blues, and You – Live from the Maltz Jupiter Island Theatre.” This milestone follows her sold-out performances in Palm Beach County, including “An Evening with Mikayla” and “Merry Christmas, Mikayla.”
Recognized for her remarkable talent, Mikayla has been honored by DownBeat Magazine and has earned accolades as an outstanding vocal jazz soloist. Her journey has seen collaborations with jazz legends like Michael Feinstein, John Pizzarelli, and Nicole Henry, as well as a recent performance with Wendy Moten from The Voice.
Rooted in the Great American Songbook, her music expands into blues-storytelling and popular music attracting audiences of every age! As a top eight vocalist of the Songbook Academy and a Young Artist Award winner from the Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook, Mikayla continues to make significant waves in the jazz and soul music landscape.
